This Is F*cking DISGUSTING (Russell Brand)

Despite repeated claims he’s lowering drug prices, Joe Biden’s administration is refusing to force the manufacturer of a lifesaving prostate cancer drug developed completely with public funds to lower its nearly $190,000 annual price tag. But sure, we beat Big Pharma this year.



Brand going crazy over the high prices of medication in the US where a lot of research is being funded by tax payers who then cannot afford to take the drugs (and only God knows now how safe and effective many of these things really are). Brand blames politicians for failing to protect the public from insane profiteering when they say that they will. He rails against the BS political rhetoric which is simply theatre pandering to American sensibilities.

The politicians should be seen for what they really are - despicable puppets of various special interest groups. It's time to stop looking at politicians (and media) as anything other than crooked or captured unless they can prove otherwise. They should be roasted at every opportunity and kicked out of office when proven to be heinous sellouts. Brand is right that we need to put in people who actually represent the interests of the ordinary person (which means voting for America First candidates inside the US, or voting for independents and minor parties outside of the US).
