The AI made a mistake, or lied, about satellite monitoring of Northern Hemisphere Sea Ice Extent, and then repeated the same mistake, or lie, AFTER it was corrected. It said there was no satellite coverage until 1979 when there was satellite data going back to 1972, which it then admitted was correct (but tried to fob it off as being less reliable). Something is obviously wrong with the AI. Is the AI actually some sort of pre-programmed propaganda bot and not AI after all? A pretty interesting incident. Having AI programs lie to people is obviously not a good development, if that is what happened.

The fact that this program didn't change its story demonstrates it isn't AI. It's a propaganda bot.
