Ukraine Reinforces Bakhmut Russian Siege Tightens; Surovikin Theatre Commander; Russia Economy Grows (Alexander Mercouris)

The key takeaway from the war is that the Russian side is continuing as they have done since near the beginning, which is to grind down the Ukrainian side. The big question is when the Ukrainian Army ends up breaking. The Russians are also continuing to hold back a lot of their forces which continue to train, likely practicing effective tactics that heavily incorporate drone warfare and artillery. The sort of training actually being undertaken in the rear areas is unknown.
