Russian Economy SOARS Past Germany & UK! (Jimmy Dore)

Soon after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 and NATO countries imposed strict sanctions, experts in the West agreed that the Russian economy would quickly be crippled, forcing Putin to pull back his troops and beg forgiveness. But that never happened. In fact, today the Russian economy is booming, growing at a rate faster than either the U.K. or Germany.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the reasons for Russia’s surprising resilience in the face of what were supposed to be crippling sanctions.



Their largely self-sufficient economy, combined with exporting energy, and a number of other products, has made them stronger than the outsourced globalised economies of the West. The experts were wrong again.
