ICC Orders Putin Arrest, Russia Controls 70% Bakhmut, Encircling Avdeevka; Xi Moscow Trip (Alexander Mercouris)

Alexander is an experienced British Lawyer, and he covers the ICC arrest warrants that appear to be highly political in nature. According to Alexander the court has no jurisdiction over Russia, and much of the rest of the world is against it. There have been no war crimes charges against Western leaders, and so the court has lost its credibility. The charges leveled against Putin are dubious ones.

One of the charges against Putin is the kidnapping of children from Ukraine. However, in interviews with family members it is known that children were evacuated due to the fighting. The reason they were moved is because a lot of civilians areas were under constant shelling by Ukrainian forces:

One should also question the idea that the war was an unprovoked aggression. The war was ongoing since 2014. What happened was an escalation after failed attempts to peacefully solve the crisis.
