Graham Hancock is a British author and former journalist. He has become known to a general audience through his theories involving ancient civilizations, a topic on which he has published twelve books.
In mainstream science there is a propensity to go to insane lengths to protect the mainstream narrative rather than look at reasonable alternatives. You don't have to agree with everything Hancock says to recognise the point he is making about how they got it wrong when it came to the human occupation of North America.
