The return of Indiana Jones reminds me of all the other iconic heroes who returned to cinema screens after a long absence and well, I'm worried. In this video essay, I break down the one Hollywood trope that kills all of your favorite characters.



The video does not say why Hollywood hates strong male characters. It talks about using the IPs to generate new second rate films. They hate strong male characters because there is this woke war against toxic masculinity and a wretched desire to make female and diverse characters the "bestest ever!" Few people are buying the unconvincing and downright insulting trash they are producing.
