UK MSM Bakhmut Death Trap Draining Ukraine Army, Putin Slams Merkel over Minsk, Says All Trust Gone (Alexander Mercouris)

Another good post from Alexander. Bakhmut is turning into hell for the Ukrainian side. They have reportedly lost up to a division of soldiers, around 10,000 people. The Russians may have lost around 1000 if you consider the ten to one casualty ratio. He also points out that Merkel could have averted the war by playing things straight with the Russians, but she came out and said that the peace talks were a ruse while they West rebuilt Ukraine's military. Knowing all the corruption in the West there's little chance that the peace talks were going to work. Ukraine was known as a CIA theme park. And the neocons never went away and have been driving US foreign policy for the last few decades. These psychopaths basically want to destroy Russia. However, during this time Russia protected itself from sanctions which has allowed it to operate during the escalated war while disastrous economic problems have struck the rest of Europe.
