Russia Reinforces for Winter Offensive, Ukraine Stalls; Xi Jinping Lectures Scholz on German Errors (Alexander Mercouris)

New estimates puts the death toll for the Ukrainians at 100,000 which means there would have been many hundreds of thousand wounded. Active forces for Ukraine are reported at somewhere in the region of 350,000 to 450,000 troops. The big problem for them is that the Ukrainian side has not won any stand up fights with Russia forces, who tend to withdraw when numbers are not on their side. Even with the odds stacked against them, in terms of troops, the Russian forces still manage to advance in many places.
