The press finally calls out Kathleen Kennedy for her bad job handling Star Wars, but is it too late or can Star Wars mount a comeback?

KK said something very revealing in an interview once. Was something like "we can't keep catering to a bunch of 50-year-old men"
So she in Disney took what I call the KK Gamble. Ditch your current audience you don't like chasing some larger, hipper, woke audience you're sure is out there somewhere.

This gamble cost Disney literally probably tens of billions in Lost opportunities and profits, and has destroyed a number of other franchises and enterprises (hello G4).

I'm kind of wondering how many times this gamble will be taken all over Hollywood before someone notices "hey don't we need to not have a disastrous failure now and then?"
