Russia Withdraws from Liman; China Brazil India Refuse to Back UN Resolution, Europe Downward Spiral (Alexander Mercouris)

Alexander maintains that Liman is unimportant strategically (except as a propaganda win). The Russian plan continues to be the destruction of the Ukraine Army while limiting the risk to their own relatively small numbers of troops. When more Russia troops arrive in the coming weeks things will change. The strategy may remain the same but the additional firepower is likely to break Ukrainian defense lines. Meanwhile the rest of the world, outside the West, is sympathetic to Russia when it comes to the war.
