Twitter says that about five percent of accounts on the social media platform are bots. That estimate is just a hair low, says cybersecurity expert Dan Woods — the actual figure is likely north of 80 percent, he argues. And it’s not hard to believe, as anyone can attest who has spent any time arguing online with another user with an account name like BigBadWolf6745385667348. But will all the bots be enough to prevent Elon Musk from having to follow through on his pledge to buy Twitter?
