What is wrong with the parents? Children being transitioned? It looks like a symptom of leftist subjectivism and virtue signalling to the latest bleeding heart thing where Western society, with its binary traditions, is seen as evil. There is nothing wrong or threatening about traditional relationships except in the minds to those who feel threatened by them. It's biologically based and the optimal way of creating babies. The people against it are the ones with the problem. There are anti discrimination laws that protect people as individuals. You don't need much more than that. And yes, for anyone that doesn't fit into a culture or society, life is tough. But that is what life is.
