It seems the Canadian human trafficking black market is just as bad as anywhere.
Intelligence services were involved in human trafficking. They were going along with whatever ISIS was doing, which is not far different from what they normally do. They were not working to stop ISIS either. The West backed them because they wanted regime change in Syria. US Defense Intelligence Agency documents reported that from at least 2012 "The West, Gulf Countries and Turkey" were supporting extremist elements in the war.
