Russia Resumes Donbass Advance, Ukraine Kherson Offensive Stops; Europe Self Made Gas Crisis Deepens (Alexander Mercouris)

The second half of the video deals with the economic situation in Europe with a history of how they (Germany) chose to use Russian gas - because it was cheap and "clean". The Europeans chose not to use coal or nuclear power and turned to Russia. They were never forced into this situation and the Russian Government was reluctant to make the deal in the first place. 

Below is a Russian Ministry of Defense report on the conflict, that outlines what Alexander says in the first half of the longer clip above. It seems clear that the Ukrainian side is taking heavy losses. The Russian losses are unknown but are likely a lot less with the disparity in aviation and artillery.

In this next clip we see the Western perspective of the fighting that describes the Ukrainian actions as being more successful, particularly the attacks on bridges, depots and aviation facilities that is said to be causing more damage than admitted in the early pro Russian clips. But is this view credible? It does not address any heavy losses in Ukrainian personnel or equipment but at least acknowledges some of the issues about artillery and aviation that were previously raised.
