A really good interview covering many bases, particularly about informed consent. Check out the first 20 minutes. It seems to me that a lot of what happened with the professionals comes down to psychology. After they were told something was ok, via an authority, no further checking, or contrary evidence, was allowed to be considered - even if it was staring them in the face. And rather than rebel against official threats to keep silent almost everyone complied with the directive. An astonishing situation.
