Russia Intensifies Shelling Gains Ground in Donbass, Ukraine Places Hopes in HIMARS, Putin to Tehran (Alexander Mercouris)

A good assessment of the military situation from Alexander who is drawing from a number of sources. The supposed Ukrainian plan is to launch a counter offensive with a 'million' (hundreds of thousands) soldiers, drafting women, where this attack will be supported by rocket artillery. These claims seem fanciful, and the lauded HIMARS is set to be hunted using a new wave of Russian drones. As things stand, in reality, the Russian forces are constantly blasting away at the Ukrainian side using massed artillery of their own, with the Ukrainians running out of personnel and equipment.
