In his Netflix special "Sticks and Stones," Dave Chappelle claimed that the MeToo movement was causing a backlash against abortion rights. Less than three years later, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Was Chappelle right? David Wood discusses the issue.
The logic is that if that State prevents abortion then men should be required to pay support. But if women can abort a fetus and they don't, if the man doesn't want a child, then they take responsibilty for the child. What the Law does allow is for women to abort the child before 15 weeks, which is plenty of time to make a decision. It could be argued that this is a very tough situation, but it's part of life and something than needs to be considered if you are a woman.
Chappelle critically mentions that the woke agenda is backfiring. With abortion, demands to kill the child right up to the time of birth has helped pass anti-abortion laws in many States. In other fields the call to have equal rights in society has turned into a never ending attack on straight (white) society. This is not an acceptable situation.
