The witnesses they are using, like ex-AG Barr, are swamp creatures. The so called Trump insiders, RINOs plus others, are swamp insiders. They know they can say anything because the system will protect them, and they do so because they are almost certainly compromised swamp operatives. Barr for example is a CIA guy going back the the Iran Contra Scandal. The fake legal attacks/hearings are attempts to criminalise dissent and censor critics.
