THE STATE WON’T PROTECT YOU (Lotus Eaters)

If it was a hostage situation then the cops waiting outside for hostage experts and police snipers makes sense. But if it was known to be an active shooter situation then the cops have a duty to act. They have effective weapons and training. In place of acting against the shooter they used a lot of force against the distraught parents.
