Texas Shooting Exposes Rot At Core Of U.S. Society (Jimmy Dore)

Tuesday, May 24 witnessed a devastating mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas that left 21 dead, 19 of them children. Predictably, the various players across the political spectrum shared their usual bromides, with Democrats gnashing their teeth and wondering when something will be done to stop this senseless killing and Republicans offering up thoughts and prayers while counting the dollars collected from the NRA.
