Pope Francis Blames NATO for Ukraine War! (Jimmy Dore)

Few would describe Pope Francis as a Russia apologist or a puppet of Vladimir Putin, yet the pontiff recently adopted the same line as many who HAVE been so accused, arguing that the Ukraine war was the fault of NATO and not simply an act of aggression from Russia. In fact, Pope Francis went so far as to describe NATO as having been “barking at Putin’s door.”

Jimmy and American comedian Kurt Metzger discuss this surprise revelation from His Holiness and his labeling as a “conspiracy theorist” by American media outlets.



One footnote. The war had already started with the US backed coup in 2014. After Russia recognised the breakaway Donbass region in 2022 the Government of Kiev continued to shell the area, escalating the bombardment, which then provoked the invasion. It wasn't just about the rhetoric from Kiev.
