Five Years Ago: Ukraine War UNCUT: UNDER FIRE in the Trenches of the Donbass War

The fighting never stopped for the people in the Donbass, ever since the Western backed coup of 2014. This sort of action, the sniping and shelling, had been going on for 8 years. When the Russians officially stepped in to recognise this region in 2022 the shelling escalated and Putin responded with the full scale invasion. The aggressor in this situation is the Government of Kiev. The Donbass had every right to declare autonomy, going by the standard set by Kosovo in the 90s and early 2000s. Various attempts at a negotiated peace were derailed.
