US Presidential Elections + Israeli Strikes Demonstrates Limits of Western Military Might

US presidential elections have little consequence because the actual special interests driving foreign policy remain in power;

US military power around the globe is in decline, meaning that withdrawal from conflicts is more a matter of physical limits than a waning desire for global primacy;

Iran has developed a ballistic missile force and asymmetrical military power capable of checking US-Israeli military power in the region;

Just as the US has used Ukraine to fight a deadly proxy war against Russia, it seeks to use Israel to wage proxy war against Iran;

Because Israel possesses nuclear weapons, the danger of US proxy war in the Middle East is more dangerous, and as US desperation outgrows a sense of consequences for its actions, the danger increases even more;



It is true that the USA has a long standing goal to dominate the globe. However, in today's environment, Israeli money and blackmail ensures that the US acts to protect their interests even at the expense of US interests.
