She said that women should have their own franchises, not "Jamie Bond". She's right. Think about the action movies The Long Kiss Goodnight, The Hunger Games, Alien/Aliens, or films specifically targeting women such as the recent Barbie Movie. They don't need to gender swap any established character to have a great female lead.
