Australia facing possible energy shortages because of 'government inaction' (SkyNewsAustralia)

Geologist Ian Plimer slams the government’s “inability” to understand the need for gas ahead of Australia’s energy shortage scares.

There are concerns over Australia’s east coast energy market, with the sector facing various issues, including higher prices and gas shortages.

“This is not a shock,” Mr Plimer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“This has taken a long while to arise because of government inaction.

“The inability of governments to project that we are going to be needing gas.”
