V for Vendetta Speech

The famous V for Vendetta speech about living in a dystopian world of fear, surveillance and censorship and identify the leading cause of this predicament; "If you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror." Some in authority are, of course, more guilty than others, but at many points ordinary people could have taken MUCH MORE interest in what was happening in the world and voted against those steering things into ruin, or refused to comply when things actually turned bad.

Thankfully, in the film, and in real life, opportunities arise whereby ordinary people can band together and repair much of what has been done. It comes down to thinking and participating in actions that will help (inform) your society and the world - rather than accepting what the establishment mouth pieces say is good for you.
