Robert F. Kennedy said Friday (8/23/24) he is suspending his independent presidential bid and is backing Donald Trump. Kennedy said his internal polls had showed that his presence in the race would hurt Trump and help Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. He cited free speech, the war in Ukraine and “a war on our children” as among the reasons to try to remove his name from the ballot in battleground states.
Excellent speech from RFK jr. Rather than take onboard any media summary of what was said, maybe take the time to listen to this speech as background noise. At least listen to the first 10-15 minutes. He talks about being trashed by the DNC, the party of his dad and uncle, and being forced to go it alone, and then continuing to battle against the DNC and mainstream media censorship + lawfare.
In MSM summaries of this speech they included smears about RFK jr's position on health - but the guy has never been taken to court over his statements. He was also never challenged by Dr Fauci after the book he wrote about him, that roasted Fauci as being a thoroughly crooked individual.
RFK jr looks to be joining Trump since he believes there is a better chance of helping the country with the MAGA movement, and where the completely corporate controlled Democrats have effectively given him the cold shoulder. This does not mean that teaming up with Trump is not siding with 'corporate America' but he sees that there is at least a path to cleaning up the mess with this strategy whereas there is no path otherwise. He obviously does not think that Trump is the next Hitler either, which is an infantilised view generated by the MSM, and sees that both himself and the former president are victims of a weaponised justice system that is acting like an arm of the corrupt Government.
The best thing to do is simply to listen to the speech.
