In this video, I debunk Potholer's junk science video he made in response to my previous video debunking another of his junk science videos.
Update : People have complained that Potholer's "professional paper" wasn't wrong, just his interpretation of it was incorrect. I suggest that they talk to Potholer about that.
Debunking a climate alarmist. The key aspect when it comes to Ice Ages is the orbit of the Earth around the Sun and the tilt of the planet. This leads to long winters and short summers where ice builds up. The amount of solar radiation remains near the same. CO2 levels have nothing to do with the changing climate.
Also, in terms of past CO2, at certain points the levels were MUCH higher than today and yet the oceans did not become acidic and the planet did not boil. Consider where all the carbon came from in sedimentary rock that has built up over billions of years. It was taken out of the atmosphere by sea creatures and deposited on the ocean floors to become rock such as limestone, dolomite or (later, under pressure) marble. Consider how much of this rock is present in the Earth's crust and how much CO2 may have been present back then - which is estimated to be thousands of parts per million in the atmosphere.
