If you are interested in the wider geopolitical story then take some time to listen to Alexander Mercouris. There's talk of tighter sanctions vs the Russians but the world economic environment is more complex than that, and this would fail. Too many other countries will not go along with the program, especially when you consider China, India and Saudi Arabia (oil). There are alternative systems outside of Western ones that allow money transfers and global logistics. In fact much of what is happening right now is outside of direct Western control anyway. The media story about ramping up sanctions is another propaganda story.
