Ukr Bakhmut Denial, Biden Demands Ukr Offensive, NATO Rehearses, Putin Confident Russian Economy (Alexander Mercouris)

The West is slowly creeping up their involvement in the war. Alexander thinks the target of the Ukrainian offensive will be the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. They might want to cause an incident to justify an intervention. The maniacs in charge will likely try to push a NATO no fly zone over Western and Southern Ukraine if the front lines collapse. Such a thing would lead to the loss of many NATO aircraft. Deploying NATO ground troops is unlikely as they will meet with same fate as the Ukrainian Army and turn the public more fully against the war. And there would not be enough forces in NATO to make a difference - at least not in the neighbouring regions to Ukraine. Russia has geared up to field at least 750,000 troops.

The end result of the Bakhmut battle is that it was a meat grinder for the larger Ukrainian Army that was defeated by a smaller Russian force that was supported by a LOT of artillery. Now more Russian troops have been deployed into the war zone.
