German Deindustrialization, Transitioning to Service Based Economy (TheDuran)

The idea of a service economy is stupid. Each country needs to be as self sufficient as possible. If German industry requires coal power to operate until a safe nuclear option, or gas option, comes online then so be it. Giving away a country's ability to make things makes them hostage to the global system. And if there is a failure anywhere in that system things fall apart. If each country is, more or less, self sufficient then things will continue without too much trouble if one country fails.
