Wimbledon Fined $1 Million For Banning Russian Tennis Players (Jimmy Dore)

The Lawn Tennis Association, the UK-based organization that runs the Wimbledon tournament, has been fined $1 million by the ATP for banning Russian and Belarusian male players from this summer's grass-court events in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The players, of course, had nothing to do with the invasion, but that apparently didn’t matter to the LTA. Because lord knows the British and American governments have never done anything that would subject their players to a similar ban, right?
