Ukraine Reportedly Ends Kherson Offensive, Switches to Kharkov; Putin Blames EU for Gas Crisis (Alexander Mercouris)

Apparently the Ukrainian Army has broken through the Russian lines in Kharkov and advanced 60km. However, without air support their columns will likely be bombed and they will inevitably be hit by massed artillery systems, including a barrage of rockets.

Going by the reports we had from Kherson this attack group will be also under constant monitoring by drones. Their only hope is to keep advancing, but this is unlikely and they will suffer a strong counter attack. The offensive ops in Kherson led to a lot of casualties and it might again here. Plus the standard Russian tactic, in the face of strongly conducted attacks, is to conduct limited tactical withdrawals, and then counterstrike.
