Dolly did a LOT of good in the world, but, like many others, she was totally mistaken when it came to the Covid jabs. She was undoubtedly mislead by health authorities and doctors who where pushing a dangerous experimental drug on the public.

The Odyssey Isn't a Win For DEI...It's a RETREAT in Disguise | Here's My Hypothesis as to WHY (Doomcock)

The Odyssey has been slammed since the early trailers as a DEI nightmare, and whatever success it has had so far has been framed as a win for The Agenda...but if you take a step back, dismiss previous impressions and actually analyze the big picture? It gets a lot more complicated, and what we assumed was a win all along...looks more like a retreat...



Apparently the film wasn't very woke, it was just extremely average. Is part of the reason the film did well, outside of the fact that Nolan directed it, is because it largely follows normal conventions? Other commentators have pointed out that if you know the character of Odysseus, what you get on screen is not really him - something ordinary movie goers would not realise.  They'd just judge the film on its overall ability to tell a good story.

A fair review of the film, where there are issues with how the plot was handled, the characterisations, the casting choices, the sound etc. Some people won't have too much of an issue with the film, apart from it being long, but the end comment from Nerdrotic nails it when he says it's “Like an Atheist adapting the Bible”.

While the film is obviously not a complete dud, the 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes is obviously political because the film is certainly not a masterpiece. The mainstream reviewers have done themselves a disservice once again, showing themselves to be largely irrelevant when it comes to giving an honest appraisal.

WTF is Going on with the Football (Sargon)

The meme about what the British football team would look like without immigrants is false. It would simply look like teams that existed in the 90s or earlier. This issue about the lack of integration and loyalty to the nation is important. Why move to another country if you don't want to become part of their society? This becomes particularly concerning for the children and grand children of migrants. Small numbers of migrants with dual loyalties should not be much of an issue, but large numbers with biases to their former homelands, that extends to later generations, is a huge problem. It's tantamount to being invaded by a foreign power.

There have always been films that bombed at the box office, but, with DEI sensibilities, this bombing seems baked into the cake. Not everything that's woke necessarily bombs, but a large percentage do, or they underperform. The issue is that too many failures put people out of jobs.
