One thing about the banks being defrauded by Trump is that the banks are sophisticated investors. They agreed to the terms. They are supposed to do their due diligence. They're equally liable to any dodgy dealings here.
And remember the NINJA loans the banks issued to people with No Income, No Assets and No Job? They did this to spin out loans where the mortgages were onsold to other banks. The banks were running a scam where they took advantage of ordinary (poor) people. If any deal was made with Trump it would have been to their advantage. The idea that Trump cheated the banks with his loan, and other loans, is ridiculous on the face of it.
The weaponised justice system is a very serious issue.
