Russian Spring | The Russians Advance On Kupyansk And Liman Frontlines. Military Summary 2023.06.23

Ukraine is mobilising more people as the Russians counter attack in Kupyansk and Liman. Some Ukrainian units appear to have advanced up to one of the Russian defense lines. If the Russians continue as before this will be another shooting gallery. Past Ukrainian attacks against numerically smaller Russian forces failed. Today the Russians outnumber their opposition. The big issue is that the Russians have now mobilised massive reserves of troops and equipment that have not been committed to battle. Russian artillery, air and drone superiority means they can simply pick at any advancing prongs until they run out of momentum.
