A published study that reviewed the Phase 3 trials showed that the risk of adverse events was greater than the risk of catching the bug. This is already generally understood, but it's good that something formal went to print. A really good clip from Tony Lin where he points out that this is only for the short term adverse events and where the risk goes up each time you take the experimental treatment. I've tried to explain that the situation we are in is not a trivial thing. It's one of those life and death things. If people had been paying greater attention the con would have failed with massive non compliance.
