Western leftist political madness. If you move to another country one must want to integrate. If one moves to France one would want to become French. Unwinding what has happened in Sweden may prove impossible without a war. The end result may be some sort of balkanisation. Foreign countries, outside of the West, would never agree to such open door policies on themselves. Perhaps a zero immigration policy is a good idea going forward.

Good intentions but a disaster outcome. You can't save the world be inviting it into your well to do country. It was the wrong strategy. imho the right idea is decentralization from the Globalist model. It creates jobs within countries. With everything made in a few key production centers (ie China), the products are then dumped into the third world which kills their manufacturing. People without jobs then move. Most of the immigrants are economic 'refugees'. The other issue is real refugees, something caused by Western Countries supporting unnecessary regime change operations. NATO destroyed Libya, and they fueled the recent war in Syria, with covert support for ISIS (where the US military ended up (pretend) fighting CIA backed jihadists). The chaos caused a refugee crisis in North Africa and the Middle East - which economic migrants used to cross borders. If people don't cooperate within countries the outcome is conflict and war. Look at what is going on in Ukraine now, or in places like Rwanda a while ago, where these populations have many similarities, ethnically and culturally. Political mismanagement kills people.
