Questions are raised about the (irrational) thinking of some sections of the public, specifically women who are supporting Lindsay Clancy, and how juries are chosen considering this problem. Whether or not Clancy had a mental episode, which is doubtful because she pre-planned the murders, she should be removed from society for the crime and not put into psychiatric detention which would allow her to walk free in the future. Sargon takes a good look at our concepts of crime, personal responsibility, and appropriate punishment.
