Douglas Macgregor: Toward War with Russia, Iran & Venezuela (Glenn Diesen)

Douglas Macgregor is a retired Colonel and former senior advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Defense. Col. Macgregor argues that the Tomahawks would be another step toward a direct war with Russia, Gaza is being destroyed, another war with Iran may be imminent, and the US is also preparing an invasion of Venezuela.



Good summary about conflict points from Macgregor. He believes that the Tomhawks may not be delivered, which is a good thing, but when it comes to overall US foreign policy he points out that no matter who you vote for you always end up with John McCain (a warmonger). 

However, there is still hope that the support the US is providing Ukraine, although real, is theatre in the face of Russia winning militarily. Macgregor further points out that the focus on Venezuela is not really about drugs but resources, where this may be another distraction (since an invasion/effective attack on Venezuela seems like a dead end gambit).

The bigger deal is with renewed attacks on Iran, where it seems the population is actually coming closer together under US-Israeli threats, as opposed to fracturing. So another dead end for neocon driven foreign policy. The more important issues for the US, according to Macgregor, are the domestic economy and securing the southern border.
