Zelensky cancelled elections so Russia will not negotiate with him. And Ukraine must give up territory for Russia to settle. The war will likely continue until Ukraine collapses, or if there is a coup (but the Azov units won't allow any deal with Russia - they want direct European involvement- and so the end result will likely be a military defeat and a surrender from the Ukrainians).
