Notting Hill stabbing festival! (Jeff Taylor)

Day one of the annual two day Notting Hill Carnival saw 90 arrests and three stabbings - so 'mostly peaceful' of course.



You don't need to celebrate the world's cultural diversity by inviting into your country the rest of the world, or to prove you are not racist by doing the same thing.
