I'm gay and I'm absolutely disgusted by this. Tim wasn't gay, he was straight--and this retcon is unnecessary. But worse, this is so insulting. It's a sermon, not a comic. When I was a kid, I didn't care who Cyclops was banging--I just liked that he was a cool character with a neat power who also displayed excellent leadership characteristics. I also didn't need him to be gay to like him as a character. What happened to comics being fun?
